杨学太，华侨大学工业设计研究院院长，教授，博导，泉州市工业设计协会会长。享受国务院政府特殊津贴、科技部中青年创新领军人才、福建省高校领军人才，兼任中国设计竞争力委员会委员、福建省陶瓷工业设计研究院院长、教育部长江学者评审专家。主持国家发改委、科技部等多项国家重大项目和课题。

Yang Xuetai, Professor, Ph.D. Supervisor, Dean of Industrial Design and Research Institute, Huaqiao University; President of Quanzhou Industrial Design Association. He is awarded the government special allowance under the State Council. He was awarded as leading personnel of middle-aged innovation talents under the Ministry of Science and Technology, leading personnel of Fujian universities. He is  member of China Design Competitiveness Committee, President of Fujian Ceramic Industry Design and Research Institute, and jury member of Yangtze River scholars under the Ministry of Education. He  has presided a number of major national projects from the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Lecture Title: Sharing, connection, and reformation: about design growth and rebirth

Summary：During 2011-2021, Quanzhou, known as “the natural testing base of China’s industrial design exploration in the new era", emerged. We founded DET DESIGN(Quanzhou DET Industrial Product Design Co., Ltd.). Relying on the abundant university resources, design and research strength of Huaqiao University, we hope to connect billions of industries, build a bridge between global design resources with strong manufacturing enterprises, so as to construct a perfect organizational form, production mode and ecosystem.With the role transformation from teacher, entrepreneur, investor to policy maker, we will complete the establishment from design company, industrial design association, industrial design institute, platform to industrial sharing brand. In the future, facing the new journey of building China’s new digital ecological infrastructure in industrial design, we will continue to share, integrate, connect and reform, to create a future with the future.
